Totnes

Transition Town Totnes (TTT) is the world’s first Transition Town. We started work in 2006, since when 39 projects have emerged, engaging an estimated 3270 residents and generating a conservatively estimated £861,000 income to the town and district.

We have recently launched Transition in Action, the print and online publication of our Energy Descent Action Plan which is available to view and purchase at www.totnesedap.org.  This is not a document designed to gather dust and we are quickly taking the project into implementation phase.

We are currently recruiting for a Transition in Action Project Manager, thanks to renewed funding by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, but there are still holes in our fundraising needs and, whilst historic, this is a financially critical time for TTT and we are now fundraising for some essential components of this project.

Transition in Action offers a number of opportunities for funders and investors to engage in this process and these are outlined in the attached PDF document.
