Tell us about your Transition initiative in 20 words:  Our Mission: Community so vibrantly connected to each other and earth, a living being, that living in harmony with all life is second nature.

What, or who, was your first encounter with Transition? After six months of coming to grips with the fact that I had become unable to continue my longtime job, a friend sent me the link to the website.  It hit all my buttons of purpose and enthusiasm.  My husband heard my joyous discovery and pulled the Transition Handbook off his bookshelf and said “You mean this?” It was a gift from the universe!

What do you love about Transition? Likeminded friends, sharing support for each other’s projects and passions and all the while, a sense of play!

If there was one thing you would change about your journey through Transition, what would it be, and what would help you do it? Think bigger sooner!

When you’re not doing Transition, what do you do? I am a retired Registered Nurse. I like to be in the wilderness whether in my local mountains or my own backyard. I draw, tend my garden, meditate, play with my grandchild, but I see that all these things are Transition.

What one piece of advice would you give someone new to Transition?  Listen to your inner passions and proceed as the way opens.  The power of intention is a powerful component!  Sharing the intention magnifies the outcome.
