Hi All,

I am a researcher at the University of Bristol working on the CONVERGE project, an interdisciplinary research project funded by the European Union with nine partners across five countries. A sub-project of CONVERGE, led by the The Natural Step in Stockholm, is exploring the practices of ‘communities of engagement’. Transition Town Totnes was selected as one of only 10 case-studies across the globe. Our primary research question for this sub-project is: How do community engagement processes and methods help build communities of engagement for strong sustainability?

I will be contacting them about undertaking interviews with members of TTT..

Get in touch if this research is of interest to you.

Cheers,

Matt

Hi Matt

I'm active in Transition Newcastle (Australia) and teach community engagement (somewhat ironically online) through the Newcastle Uni. I'd be interested in this research.

Thanks

Graeme

Hi Matt

I am really interested in your project, as I am just starting my MSc dissertation which is about how a local authority (UK) and ensure its approaches to climate change adaptation build personal and community capacity to adapt to climate change?  (I am a student at De Montfort University studying Climate Change and Sustainable Development)

Would be good if I can phone / email you or skype, am not in UK at present.  Not sure if I am allowed to post my contact details on here?.  My email address is emilygbullock@gmail.com hope to hear from you, or anyone else for that matter who can help me.
