 Transition Centreville / Clifton is now organizing in the suburbs of Washington DC.  We have had one public presentation by Dr. Jackson Harper on Peak Oil and will show the film "The Great Squeeze" in February 2011.  We plan monthly presentations, films, workshops, and demos.

I have been born out of Dutch parents in the Dutch colony Dutch New Guinea in 1950. At the age of 5 we went back to the Netherlands were I had finished the studies as electrical, electronics and telecommunication ingeneer. when I was 21 I went to South Africa and worked over the years in all the study fields. In 1986 I went back with my own family to the Netherlands for economic reasons. I worked here for the firm Canon in the computer and photocopy machines department.
