A small group of us – all local residents – came together in the autumn of 2009 to form Holmfirth Transition Town Initiative (HoTT), and we held our first public meeting in February 2010. Now Chairman of the National Flood Forum, a Charity dedicated to providing support and advice to flooded individuals and communities in the UK. We also work closely with the Environment Agency and all levels of government to influence policy formation.

I have now been sucked into Transport as well!
