Village Surrey Transition Initiative is a group of Surrey, BC residents concerned about the impact in our community of Climate Change, Peak Oil and a mix of other factors including global economic recession.

Grew up going to CND and other marches in 80's.  Involved in the No M11 and other road campaigns. Volunteer with EcoLocal throughout the 1990's working on various Local Agenda 21 sustainability projects. www.ecolocal.org.uk/. Stood as a local Green Party in the 90's. Involvement in organising Sutton Environmental Fair since 1993.
