This is for website editors who need to set the date of their item. It is of particular interest to the Social Reporters' editor of the week who needs to work on items before the publication date, then set the publication date so that the item appears correctly on the Social Reporters homepage.

1. Choose 'full html' from the 'Input format' drop down option below the editor.

I also put a lot of capital Xs in the normal text in the editor before switching to HTML view so I can find my place more easily later
