I first became interested in the Transition Town movement when living in Totnes, Devon a few years back. I've since moved to Glastonbury where I am an active member. I blog about 'financial mindfulness' or organic money management, sometimes with a peak oil slant and always sharing my personal journey towards inner resilience.

Our food group has an allotment which we run in as sustainable way as we can. Anticipating a future without oil, we use only hand tools and get fertility only from compost and green manures.

I belong to Transition Athelney, which comprises a number of villages just to the east of Taunton, on the Somerset Levels.  I'm new to the group and completed my 2 day Transition Training in April with a wonderful bunch of folk led by Nick Osborne.

My work experience primarily relates to knowledge management, collaboration and capability development (that's training strategy to you and me) (17 years with a large management consultancy - left last year to pursue something that fitted better with my ethos).
