On the outer edges of Liverpool ONE, a 42 acre regeneration area of the city centre, there is a Tesco Superstore. This is unremarkable in itself - you can't go very far in Liverpool without running into one - however, if you venture just around the corner of the main entrance you'll find a set of plaques that reproduce an 18th Century map of the area.
Soon, like every year around the middle of February, I will start feeling it: The Quickening. It's a growing sense of urgency, of expectancy and excitement.
The subject of our last post in our Looking Back fortnight is perhaps the thorniest and most challenging, both to engage in and write about: our fellow Transitioners. As a social movement we need to work on an equal and dynamic and friendly footing with others. Not an easy task as all of us have spent our lives working within a hierarchical and competitive structure.
