I currently serve as Associate Pastor (part-time) at First-Plymouth United Church of Christ in Lincoln, NE, where I lead a Sustainable Living Ministry. I am interested in building a more holistic world outside the church walls. I am thoroughly impressed by the work that Transitions is doing, and I am "mulling" over whether to start an initiative in Lincoln.
I live in Seabrook in Hythe with my partner and two children. We try to live as simply and locally as possible. Our small garden is full of herbs, wildlife areas and a small garden room where I make my own range of herbal teas, which are sold in local shops and through market stalls.
First met in September 2010, constitution agreed March 2011.
First local food event on October 2nd 2011.
Facebook page and web pages set up.
Help with managing the community garden behind the stand at Nuneaton Town Football Club. Edible tree planting day held 2013. Planning to have healthy living events, gardening taster days and foraging days etc.
Transition Bondi is the force pushing for community gardens in this transient town, we will be at the cutting edge of building communities rather than economies
