Have you noticed how some Transition events come with a “curious sense of deja vu”? As though they’ve been done by every initiative, from Ealing to East Brunswick, as though you, in your own little corner will see the same people doing the same things for the same visitors, yet again!
I am Timothy Schneider, a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in Psychology and Baker College of Flint with an A.S. in Business with a focus in Graphic Communications. My interest in the Transition Town movement grew out of research on climate change; I wanted to address the problems I saw, and felt that the moment on the national level was and is too slow.
Ive been dreaming about a more supportive community, sustainable economy, locally grown food and renewable energy but just discovered the transition network through reading 'the power of just doing stuff'.
