I currently serve as Associate Pastor (part-time) at First-Plymouth United Church of Christ in Lincoln, NE, where I lead a Sustainable Living Ministry. I am interested in building a more holistic world outside the church walls. I am thoroughly impressed by the work that Transitions is doing, and I am "mulling" over whether to start an initiative in Lincoln.
I'm not what people generally know as a "man of faith", and sometimes the religious responses to the crises of the world have left me exasperated and despairing.
Formed in the autumn of 2010 with some ambitious projects and awareness raising ideas. Closely affiliated with nearby initiatives including Transition Derby. Seeking to turn our large village into a resilient, sustainable community with all citizens aware of the issues and engaged.
