Rob just finished reading, on the train home from the talk he gave last night in Godalming, the draft of Alexis Rowell’s forthcoming book, “Communities, Councils and a Low Carbon Future: what we can do if governments won’t”.

In July 2008 Somerset County Council passed the UK’s first motion calling Somerset a Transition Local authority, but what does this mean?

Our Transition Councils ½ day workshop is an answer to this question. Transition Network is holding its first workshop specifically aimed at Local authority officers and members in London June 23rd. 

There will be two sessions, 9.30-12.30 and 2-5.
