Project Aim

We aim to communicate the issues of climate change, pollution and carbon footprints to primary school children and their parents.

The show uses clowning, songs, humour and the terrifying 'See-Saw of Doom' to explain the stark choices facing us all and how we might address them

Further details

STOP PRESS - 'A Tipping Point' will be performed again in Sunningdale, Berkshire, on Friday 24th September. The production team from Transition Town Shaftesbury are being hosted by Sustainable Sunningdale, with involvement from local primary schools.

There are shows at 2.00 and 4.30, tickets £5 Adults, £3 Children and £10 Family.
Venue is Recreation Ground, Broomhall Lane, Sunningdale, Berks SL5 0QS

For a 10 minute clip of highlights from the show, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=m02FzxuLYqQ&gl=GB

An hour long, this family show combines clowning and comedy, music and
artwork to encourage children and their families to explore how their
actions in everyday life can affect the planet. The Circus Ringmaster
introduces us to the two naughty hula-hooping clowns, Tilly Twist and Hobbit.
We find out all about CO2 and carbon footprints through songs, antics with
the clown car CO2MAX, a huge gorgeous globe, and the terrifying Seesaw of
Doom. Can our two clowns make the right choice and save our planet? Come
along and find out!

We intend to tour the show in 2011 and have secured preliminary Arts Council funding. If you are interested in seeing the show, please contact me or Julia Markus on jorkus@lineone.net and 01747 854225.
