Project Aim

  1. To be a model for the replication of other CSA schemes around Yorkshire and the UK
  2. For the scheme to be environmentally, socially and economically sustainable
  3. To teach organic farming methods and permaculture techniques.

Further details

Kippax CSA is a one acre market garden located just outside Ledston Luck Village in East Leeds. The scheme has been up and running since January 2009 and is coordinated by two growers, Louise Cartwright and Neal Stanley. The scheme produces vegetables, salad, herbs and fruit for 44 weeks of the year. The scheme is run using organic techniques and permaculture principles. Louise and Neal are eager to teach members about organic growing and host a variety of field days and social events in order to do this. The scheme is expanding and is currently looking for more members. If you are interested in being part of an inclusive and sustainable food supply please contact Louise and Neal on: E: kippaxcsa@gmail.com  T: 07870994354
