About Trevor Pryce-Jones
I'm a retired academic, having taught University chemistry for more than 30 years. My subject specialism led to an interest in Environmental Science, particularly Atmospheric Science, Air Quality issues and Modelling studies. My wife and I moved to Pershore in 2007, and I joined Transition Pershore when it was formed in 2010 at which time I became the initial treasurer. At our first AGM in April 2011, the chairman and treasurer swopped roles and I became chairman.
The Core Group meets at 4 to 6 weekly intervals, either at theTown Hall or at Number 8, the Town's Arts Centre. Both are situated in High Street. Our groups include energy, food, transport and raising awareness. While sympathising with, and attempting to enthuse the activities of all our groups, I have a particular interest in energy and raising awareness. My ambition is to see Transition Pershore grow and flourish, with greater numbers of younger people joining and supporting our ambitions and activiites.
