About Sue Lines
Active in Transition Town Letchworth for two years. Getting more deeply involved in the evolution of the local group and trying to find my way to a more sustainable way of life. I grow my own fruit and veg to some extent and keen to help others on the same path. I'm in the process of installing PVs regardless of whether the feed in tariff stays or reduces. One side of my roof faces due south so it is the right thing to do! I feel it is all very well for me: I may be described as a 'post consumer' and that the Transition movement seems to attract a lot of my age group and some younger well off people who choose a greener way of life. I am wrestling with the problem of how to get the Transition message out to people with middle or lower incomes.
As I am retired I have more time than most and am willing to put some of that time to good purposes. it's only since getting to know about Transition and Transitioners that I realise why I have felt out in a cold and lonely place for so long. I feel at long last that I belong to a group of people not willing to cave into a life of personal comfort and / or personal defeat about 'the world out there'.
