Sabine Prather

 I have been interested in environmental issues for over 30 years. I have a BA in Environmental Studies with a minor in Leisure Studies and a Master's in Regional Planning. I have worked in municipal and regional planning and now work on sustainable housing issues as a Realtor and Government Affairs committeemember. I'm a trip leader and Information Volunteer with the Appalachian Mountain Club and do publicity for the Berkshire Chapter of AMC. I took Chris Martensen's Crash Course on the End of Money, which really enlightened me to what's going on now with the end of cheap oil and what that means, coupled with global climate change. I'm glad there's something we can at least try to do locally with this Transition Towns Initiative. What is there to lose?
