I was born in Germany and trained as a picture restorer. I lived in Denmark for 10 years where I worked in the Paintings Conservation Department of the National Museum.
In the mid nineties I moved to Jersey, married and had a son.
In 2001 I started training as a human and equine Shiatsu Therapist and subsequently practiced Shiatsu alongside picture restoration.
In 2005 we lived in Sri Lanka for one year, where I got involved in a Tsunami relief project (Project Galle).
In 2007 we moved to Devon and lived for 2 years in Ashburton, the place I first learned about Transition Town Totnes.
Back in Jersey, I am a committee member of Jersey Climate Action Network and member of the Jersey in Transition steering group.
