Sixty-seven year old grandma committed to leaving a pristine, thriving planet for them to enjoy. Born and raised on a small farm in Mississippi. Peace Corps volunteer in Rupununi Savannahs of Guyana SA 66-68. Elementary Special Education teacher. Raised money and led seminars for one of-if not the largest worldwide organizations working for personal and planetary transformation. Operated a fundraising consulting firm to train organizations working for social change in an innovative and powerful technology of fundraising. Served as Dennis Kucinich's National Director of Fundraising when he ran for President in 2004. Operated a Spiritual Healing practice specializing in energy(Reike Master) and breath work, massage, and nutrition. Facilitator for Awakening the Dreamer-Changing the Dream Symposium (Pachamama Alliance) whose purpose is to bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilled, and socially just human presence on earth. Ordained New Thought Minister. Board member and fundraising chair of Yamhill County CASA(court appointed special advocates). We match volunteers with children who have been removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse and are in the jurisdiction of the courts. The CASA(volunteer) gets to know the child and advocates for their best interests in the many hearings that occur prior to permanent placement. Co-founded the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in McMinnville, serving as lead celebrant and worship committee chair. As part of Buddhist Services-a prison ministry I conduct services at the Oregon State Correctional Institute. I'm a Hospice volunteer and work from time to time at the local soup kitchen. I have two adult daughters-the older US Oregon Attorney, Amanda Marshall and Kaki Marshall is program coordinator for a residential treatment facility serving homeless substance abuse addicted men in Oakland CA. Amanda is the mother of my three young grandsons in whose lives I have a daily presence.
