Semi retired (Ok, maybe retired) 58 year old guy who gave up commuting to run a company in Stoke when he decided it was time to develop other interests and had the luxury of being able to do so. Current treasurer of Transition Cambridge. Mainly interested in practical stuff that can make a difference (vegetable growing, energy saving etc.) but slowly realising that positive change need not be just things you can touch and see. Prone to occasionally head off on a cycle ride (Lebanon last year, Italy this) where your head gets empty and you can fill it with what ever thoughts you like and share it with other through a bike blog.
