About Jane Walker
Led a protest against a Wimpey building site in 1962, graduated to delivering leaflets for FoE in 1971, got my psychology degree and left to join the revolution. Moved back into a house after 20 years off the grid, dug up the lawn to make an experimental tyre garden and got involved with local politics.
Founded the charity Medical Welfare which was initially aimed at providing these services at events, but is now also engaged in resilience training.
Director of a business supplying stewards and security to events.
Help out at the Glastonbury Assembly Rooms in the winter, where I am currently Secretary, and run various courses based around the revival of old crafts which we are likely to need again and the use of new technologies to support off grid living.
