Interests
My favorite hobbies are traveling, learning and teaching. I like all subjects as long as I'm learning something new or rediscovering something I've forgotten. At 32 years old, there's a lot I had forgotten that I'm relearning. My favorite topic at the moment is mechanical engineering.

Favorite Music
Everything from classical to alternative rock though I grew up listening to heavy metal. My wife taught me to appreciate love songs and I also like pop music. Jazz is okay if I'm in the right mood and the right place, but keep me as far away as you can from rap.

Favorite Movies
When I was real young, I used to enjoy watching horror films despite the nightmares they gave me, but these days I've lost my taste for them and avoid them at all costs. Since then, my dreams have grown less confrontational and more peaceful. Now, I like watching drama, comedy, family movies, action, thriller, sci-fi and fantasy.

Favorite Books
There was a time when I used to read 10 books a week. Then there was another time I used to read every book on computers and programming I could get my hands on. I read a lot of fiction during the first half of my youth. During the second half I mostly read non-fiction - philosophy, biography, how-to, general science, psychology, neuroscience, physics and even math books. I love to read but because of all the events in my life, I have not read more than 10 books for pleasure in the last 10 years. The internet probably had a hand in that too.
