About Chris Cant
I've been involved in the Penrith Action for Community Transition (PACT) initiative since near its beginning in 2008. I've played an active part in its Resources and Waste action group, particularly its Plastic Bag Free Penrith campaign. I'm now treasurer at PACT and have been helping with PACT events and looking at getting funding to help take some of our projects forward.
I set up my local Freegle group early in 2007, Penrith and Eden District Freegle and have helped Freegle nationally on their tech projects - running my own programming and web business is my day job.
I also help out locally doing voluntary work for the RSPB. I'm helping on smartphone technology for a Malawi microcredit scheme.
