About Andy Davies
I have been involved with Transition Evesham Vale (TEV) for a couple of years. My main interest within TEV is local food, and trying to find a reasonably priced solid wall insulation solution!
My wife and I have a very long garden, in which we grow some veg, a lot of fruit, keep some hens, a couple of goats and pigs (it is a very narrow, but as I say, quite long garden!). We do buy in some animal feed (boo), but do recycle a lot of neighbour's waste (yay). My wife has an allotment, and we keep bees on a friend's field.
I work for a local conservation charity, the Vale Landscape Heritage Trust, which looks after orchards and flood meadows and woods in the Vale of Evesham. Together with a friend, I make cider and beer on a semi-commercial basis (far too much for home use, anyway!)
