Calling all faith practitioners
Do you practise a faith? Whether you’re a Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Quaker or practising any other faith, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re in the process of building links with different faith groups and partners.
Plans afoot include a Quaker Transition conference in June 2011 and a Green Muslim event later this year, hopefully leading to a large scale national Green Ramadan Festival in 2011.
If you have a faith and are involved in Transition, we’d really welcome your ideas and input into this work. To find out more, contact Catrina Pickering, via email, or on the telephone: 01865 403147.

I Like it!!!
6 August 2010 - 3:22pm — AnonymousHi!!!
My idea is just to have a meditation or a prayer or whatever for the peace or love for every one. Is good that you can discuss but now that you have the space, could be good with a lot of people and good vibe have something for all the world in common.
Thank you for everything and I wish you the best.
My mail is (mezcalinatavo@hotmail.com) Octavio Mancera (shabad Deep Singh).

Faith groups
16 August 2010 - 9:14am — Graham TruscottIn Transition groups in my experience there seem to be a higher proportion of people of faith (of one sort or another) than in the wider population - perhaps an indication of our willingness to engage with ourselves at a heart and soul level. For all its public debating, self-flagellation and past errors (what other groups do this quite as much as they do?), the Anglican church is doing some good things environmentally and I'm glad to be part of that. For anyone who can look beyond tabloid headlines, there are some excellent initiatives in churches, between churches and between different faiths that recognise the duty of care by mankind for the natural world.
