Wokingham

Working together in Wokingham we will:

• Plan community action to address peak oil and climate change
• Launch a clearly articulated community defined 'Energy Descent Action Plan'
• Engage with the whole community through businesses, councils and authorities, clubs, churches, charities and schools
• Celebrate even our smallest successes to make the transition to living in a time without cheap oil
• Encourage local, individual action, small changes, locally sourced
• Run talks, films and local events

Current projects include the creation of a community orchard, a children's allotment, fruit foraging, some talks and film-screenings

We're working on a garden share scheme in the Norreys area, bee-keeping, a carbon diet and will be out and about with our community apple press later in the year.
