Wayland Transition

Transition Wayland started in April 2011 when Katrien Vander Straeten set up a website and organized several events at the local library: an introduction of the model by Trainer Tina Clarke, a Climate Change talk by Donna Merritt Kramer, a discussion of Bill McKibben's Eaarth, and a booth at the Wayland Earth Day. Many of those attracted to these events quickly became members of the initiating group, which at the time of writing (May 2011) counts 6-8 devoted members who meet every two weeks and in between. 

The first events that we are organizing together are a Training for Transition on May 21-22 and a Climate Change event (movie, discussion).
