Our vision is to create a resilient, sustainable community in harmony with nature, where the majority of our basic needs are supplied locally  

Shasta Commons is a resource network to assist in the organization and promotion of local, sustainable goods and services through education, existing and planned community projects and the shastacommons.org website. Projects include but are not limited to cooperative organic gardening and distribution, a garden-share program, micro-farming workshops and a local currency/ trade bank.
