About

Transition Pershore was formed in 2010 in an attempt to persuade local people of the consequences of Peak Oil and the opportunities that are available to modify our lifestyles and live more sustainably.  Since the formation, we have formed a number of groups reflecting our concerns, interests and collective expertise. These include food, transport, energy and raising awareness.  In addition, we have a core group who meet at regular intervals of about four to six weeks to monitor progress and plan future activities.  Meetings are at the Town Hall or at Number 8, Pershore's Arts Centre situated in the High Street just down the road from the Town Hall.
