"Reseau de soutien aux initiatives de transition à Paris et en Île-de-France" is the informal support group to promote transition in the greater Paris area. The group was established in early 2010 to support emerging initiatives in the region and to satisfy the huge need of the Parisian population to learn about transition even though local initiatives are not (yet) around.
