Who is involved with Transition Norway?

We are composed of a small number of volunteers based in and around Oslo. Collectively, we have backgrounds in environmental and sustainability science, community development, permaculture and the non-profit sector. Our staff includes Mauricio Deliz, a Transition trainer certified by the Transition Network Ltd.

What does Transition Norway do?

Transition Norway's role is to inspire, encourage, connect, support and train communities as they self-organize around the Transition model across Norway. We are working in close partnership with the Transition Network Ltd.

Inspire & Encourage

We provide a list of movies and books to not only educate community members about environmental and social problems, but also about realistic community-oriented solutions. We also include informative videos and useful links to help jump-start the Transition process where you live.

Connect

We maintain an online community social network to enable sharing and networking amongst residents of Norway. Our network is embedded in our web platform preventing any fear of outside interference.

Support & Train

We provide documents concerning the Transition process. We also host workshops to teach about the Transition model and how to get the process started in your community.
