About

The New Forest is an area of over 200 square miles comprising largely rural land with a scattering of towns, villages and very small hamlet communities.  The NF Hub aims to stimulate interest in Transition across the whole area and coordinate connections with other agencies, neighbouring Transition groups etc.

Since starting in November 2008 there have been many projects and events taking place.  Our main theme at present is 'local food' - we have a project running (The New Forest Food Challenge) that aims to get people growing and buying and eating more local produce.
