About

Transition Kentish Town was formed in 2010, and since then has been raising awareness of climate change and peak oil in the area of Kentish Town. We have put on regular film showings, talks, and workshops to help address these issues, and think about how we can become a happier and more self-sufficient community.

In February 2011 we held a Open Space event,  bringing many people together to discuss how we can build a better future for Kentish Town. There are now active groups focussing on food, energy, gardening and bike maintenance,  and we are currently setting up an affordable and local vegetable box scheme.

We work closely with our Transition neighbours including Belsize, Tufnell Park, Dartmouth Park, Highgate, and Primrose Hill.
