Energise Barnet

 Energise Barnet is a new, community initiative/social enterprise to improve the environmental well-being of the London Borough of Barnet.

Working with our partners, we help the local community benefit from Government  'Feed-In Tariffs'  the 'Renewable Heat Incentive', Smart Metering and the ‘Green Deal' which incentivise homeowners, schools, churches and businesses etc to generate energy and insulate homes and buildings.

To reduce the cost of installation and help  protect residents from overcharging and poor service, we are establishing community buying groups so members can secure discounts on the installation of solar energy systems, solid wall insulation and other high cost energy saving measures from 'best of breed', accredited installers. 

 The bigger the buying groups, the bigger the savings - and the bigger the reduction in carbon emissions.
