About

The Belfast Area Transition Initiative began in February, 2010 with a discussion group based on the "Transition Handbook", facilitated by Unity College professor Doug Fox and hosted by the Belfast Free Library, the Belfast Co-op, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast, and the Green Store.  From this group, some of us have continued to meet, and more have joined, to explore beginning a Transition Initiative (TI) in the Belfast Area.

Monthly meetings, weekly "Transition Cafes", tabling at events, brochure & website creation, Facebook page "Transition Belfast Area", 10-10-10 project(s), the "Transition Times Jan. 2021 issue".
