Transition Banyule is working to engage the community in planning the future.  The initiating group is:

  • raising awareness through film screenings, seminars, workshops and tours
  • running open space* days on key themes
  • supporting the establishment of theme working groups
  • supporting the establishment of locality groups in each suburban area
  • running demonstration projects on a range of themes
  • establishing positive relationships with city council officers

Wicking Bed Workshop
Date: 4 September 2010
Start time: 10am sharp
Finish time: ~1pm
Place: Rosanna Fire Station Community House, 232 Lower Plenty Rd Rosanna 3084
Learn how to construct a water-saving garden bed for growing vegetables and herbs.  This workshop has been funded by a 2010/11 Banyule Conservation and Environment Grant.

As usual, bring food to share after the work is done.
