In Transition 2.0 is in production and will be released soon after the publication of Rob Hopkins’ latest book The Transition Companion, which is due out in the autumn.

With Emma Goude as Director, Green Lane Films are, as usual, not going to be flying anywhere to make the film.  We’re relying on filmmakers from around the world to film stories and send them in.

The film will follow the ingredients of the book and take the viewer on a journey through the stages of Transition.  Beginning with an Initiator who decides to set up Transition, we see how a group is formed, structures itself and starts to unleash the collective genius.   Each step of the way shows us a different Initiative as it matures, learns, adapts and evolves. 

It takes a community to make a community film and… you can get involved with the making of it in different ways…
