Learning from Elders
Hi - does anyone out there in the Transition world have a particular interest in the 'Elders' issue.
In particular - I have a friend (now aged 94 - born in the year of the Russian Revolution and the opening of Kuala Lumpa railway station!) who has been writing a lot of stuff up about her very long life, and her long-term involvement in environmentalism and other social/political movements (including being one of the first people to take on Mary Whitehouse).
We are looking for people interested in reading her stuff, having a dialogue with her, and potentially trying to get her stuff out to a wider audience.
Any one interested please get in touch.

Hi I'm part of a new project that is based on the honouring the elders idea - we are focused on interviewing people about the history of local food in Liverpool - you can see what we are up to here: www.mrseelsgarden.org or we are also @mrseelsgarden.
Would also love to hear about other people's oral history/honouring the elders projects.
