Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the concept of transition (as you can tell) and would like to learn more.

Diving in at the deep end, I'd like to ask: what is everyone's perfect scenario?  We all do little things here and there like not using plastic bags and recycling, etc, but to what end?

I suppose I'm asking what a 'green utopia' would look like in a world living off renewable resources.  What type of renewable energy are we using in this scenario?  What's the ultimate goal?

Best.

MJ - there's a whole lot of reasons why people do transition and each one will have a slightly different take on what their end point might be. Also most people involved in transition recognise that we're moving into unchartered waters so end points are held as aspirations rather than precise models. Also, it takes a long process before people come to a clear picture of what their end point might be and that's usually best done as a collaborative process.

I suspect also that since your question actually has at least 3 massive (and in some ways unanswerable) questions, you may have to wait a while for the answers.
