This new Youth Theatre is a unique opportunity for young people aged 13-18 to work with professional theatre artists Encounters to express through drama, writing, music and movement your ideas about our world today.
What's it like to be alive now? What are your hopes for the future? What makes you smile? What do you fear? What might the world be like in 2030? What is your role in the bigger picture?
The Youth Theatre will work weekly with Encounters Associate Director, Ben Yeger and guests, to create a public performance in March 2012. Everyone involved will have a say and make a contribution to the performance.
The Transition Youth Theatre is run by Encounters in association with Transition Town Totnes.
The group will close after the first two sessions.
When - Wednesday evenings 6-9pm (plus snacks)
From - November 9th - March 28th, plus 2 Saturdays (dates tbc)
Cost - £5.50 per session (£3.50 low income), includes snacks

Thank you very kindly for creating this essential network , to connect like minded people together all around the world , to help one another live a harmonius life with Mother Nature.
I looked up activities under Canada, and the postal code of H1V 2C5, to connect my freind with Transition activities in Montreal, but nothing came up. Only activities near London, U.K. came up. Does this mean that nothing has been established in the province of Quebec yet ?

I suggest you take a look at the Initiatives Directory - where initiatives have registered themselves, and you can search by location or name there. Here's a quick link to a filtered search of all initiatives we know about listed in Canada and you'll see there are some in Quebec and many other areas.
Also there is a people directory too - where you can search by name to connect. I hope that helps!
