The NEW Green Gathering will be showcasing future technologies, alternative ways of life and inspiring people to adopt sustainable lifestyles! We have a Transition focused area at this camping event with fantastic networking opportunities.
It will be held on a beautiful traditional estate in West Berks, about 11 miles out of Reading (exact venue to be announced later).
A busy team of experienced environmental event organisers are excited to announce The 2011 Green Gathering, July 28th-31st, located on a beautiful traditional estate in West Berkshire. The 2011 Green Gathering follows the tradition of environmentally and ethically conscious events that have been known for over 30 years. These gatherings developed into the main ‘green’ events in Britain, if not the world, showcasing future technologies, alternative ways of life and inspired many people to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle before Green Living became mainstream. The 2011 Green Gathering promotes and platforms sustainable lifestyles through combining education with entertainment.
A creative, energetic children’s area combined with popular conscious event favourites, the new Transition Area, Traditional Crafts and demonstrations of green technology innovations will enable families at The Green Gathering to play and learn together, relax and have fun!
With a capacity of just 5000 people the 2011 Green Gathering will have a family friendly, smaller and intimate ambiance compared with bigger green events of the past.
