Elegance in Leadership - Sociocracy workshops, talks and social with John Buck

John Buck, the foremost native English speaking trainer on the subject, is visiting the UK from America to be with us uniquely, to conduct talks and training on Sociocracy (Dynamic or Collaborative (Self) Governance), and to mingle with like minded souls.

This will be relevant to anyone interested in organisational democracy and structure, and tools that are as efficient and effective as they are inclusive, participatory and consensual, and is applicable to Transition Town communities, forward thinking businesses, co-operatives and social enterprise, non-violent communication, permaculture and co-housing communities, and local service delivery.

We begin with an evening introduction talk, participatory workshop and social, and follow with a rare opportunity to participate in a comprehensive 2-day workshop, and further short training on subjects in line with demand.

A talk and participatory workshop, followed by a Sociocracy Social at a nearby pub.

The introductory talk is open to anyone interested in sociocracy, regardless whether you participate on the weekend workshop.  There is no fixed cost for this, but a donation of £10 or more would be appreciated.

John Buck is the first native English speaker certified by the Sociocratisch Centrum in Rotterdam, Nederlands. He has conducted executive education in North America and Europe; and led the application of sociocracy to businesses large and small, community groups, universities, charities and intentional communities.  John co-wrote the standard text "We the People: Consenting to a Deeper Democracy" and has translated numerous monographs on sociocracy from the original Dutch, and is strongly engaged in the international network to promote the understanding of Sociocracy.
