Details

We would like to invite you to an event in your county  to hear more about existing members schemes and the benefits of community composting. This will be followed up by training in January/February, which thanks to funding from the Wrap/REalliance partnership programme, will be free to all interested groups and individuals, and will include follow on support.

The Local Authorities in these counties are on ‘our side’, involved in the project and wish to support new Community Composting schemes.

FREE Forums are 1 1/2  - 2 hour events where you will hear about community composting from existing projects, meet like minded people in your county and hear about the next steps to starting a Community Composting Project. There will be time to ask questions from Community Composting Network workers and a Council Officer. Hot drinks and cake will be provided

FREE training  workshops will be provided in your county in the form of 2 x day sessions on all aspects of community composting from bins to legislation. There will be a particular focus on local resources and help such as funding and useful contacts.
