Exciting News - CCF Grant Awarded!

The hard work and burning the midnight oil has paid off and we are absolutely delighted to be able to announce that we have been successful in our application to the Scottish Govenment's Climate Challenge Fund for 2011/12.  We have been awarded £122,500 to support our Towards Sustainable West Kilbride Project.  This encompasses the areas of Local Food and Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency.  Amongst other things, the funds will support 2 project workers to really get things moving in these areas over the next 12 months.  If you are interested in these exciting roles then details are posted below....

Towards Sustainable West Kilbride Project

Transition West Kilbride is looking for

Local Food Facilitator
Energy Project Developer

to help establish our town as a more resilient and sustainable community.

These are full time self employed fixed term contracts until 31 March 2012 (pending grant approval). The price for each contract is £28,000 based on delivering services over 12 months.
