Building your local economy

Community Microsite for: REconomy
Country:
Date started:
7 January 2011

The REconomy project is based in the UK, and aims to help Transition Initiatives to engage local businesses and organisations, and stimulate new Transition Enterprises, in order to strengthen their local economy and increase community resilience (more about the REconomy project).

We are currently working with 10 Transition Initiatives from around the UK - see where they are on the map below. This is Phase 1 of what we hope will be an ongoing programme of activity by the TN (TTandC). TTandC is the part of the TN that engages with business and organisations and promotes Transition Enterprise.

LATEST NEWS! We are shortly launching a new website that will share all of the tools, resources and processes that we (and other partners) have developed. This will be widely announced probably in Feb 2012. This workspace will then cease to exist.

We would like to thank the Roddick Foundation, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Tudor Trust for supporting this work.
