Leytonstone

Welcome to Transition Leytonstone. We have been going strong since September 2009, aiming to raise awareness and create vibrant and powerful new connections in an urban community which is hugely diverse in its ethnicity, social customs and faiths. What really always bring people together is a shared love of good food: growing it, cooking it, eating it, sharing it. Food and diversity were the cornerstones of our ambitious Green Winterfaith Festival (4/5 February 2011) which we co-organised with Green Ramadan.
