Taunton Transition Town hosted an open planning meeting last Monday 11th April. 14 of us turned up to talk through issues and see what practical projects or ideas might make a difference to the way local food works in Taunton.
Co-cars is a successful car club that runs 7 cars in Exeter, Topsham and coming soon to Taunton, are now interested in expanding its services to the Blackdowns Hills area of East Devon and Somerset. From Wellington to Sidmouth and Woodbury to Axminster and all towns in between!
Last Saturday (October 2nd) Taunton Transition Town celebrated the harvest with the Abundant Taunton event at the Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre. Citizens of Taunton could enjoy a drink of freshly squeezed apple juice made from apples picked for free from all the locally available trees in the area.
