Transition Near Me

Ever wondered what was happening transition-wise near you? Ever wondered what that those other two transition towns in your vicinity were up to? Ever needed to find another like-minded person you could actually spend some face-to-face time with to discuss your transition efforts/successes/woes?

Well now you can. We're gently rolling out a very cool piece of technology that will enable you find Transition-related people, projects, events and initiatives within a 50 mile radius of you.

This is a handy illustrated guide to using the 'Transition Near me' functionality.

You need to add your location to your personal profile in order for it to work, naturally, by editing your profile.

Ready? Buckle up...

1. Login and go to your user homepage

You can also get here by clicking on your username at the top at any time.

Err. that's it to be honest. Cool, isn't it? But was it a bit to easy?

Oh OK then, here's another handy gizmo - for those who are adding news items and events (partner events or those using the Community Microsites) - try this for size...

3. Click on 'My Content' tab

And go 'Corr blimey, that's handy. I can see all the content I've added to the site (news and events).
