"What is the future context for Transition?" session

Just listened to the session recording (an excellent resource for those who couldn't be there). The feedback from 2011, 2015 & 202 was very interesting. I've started a blog to try to discuss the 'facts' behind peak oil and the all important 'net energy' in the hopes that we can reach out to those who don't understand the basics of energy. It's not a Transition blog but I do plug Transition a lot! Please see http://mandymeikle.wordpress.com/ and please do comment. I'm also writing a small book called Net Energy in a Nutshell to try to get complex and nerdy topics over in an understandable way.

The split between hope and fear in the session is very understandable as we know that people are very skilled at ignoring unpleasant messages and denying things which don't fit in with their ideas of what is 'real'. Psychology is as important as ecology in this time!
